Get back, Joe-Joe

(Hey you patriotic RT-ers! Please welcome Grevious Angel, our newest writer. - btp)

Time now for “The Joe Show,” the brotherhood of Joes, if you will. We’ve told you about Republican Senate Majority Leader Joe Bruno’s slush fund to help fellow Republicans dole out the dough. Heck, Senator Joe Robach will tell you himself here. The site does not tally the total expenditures so I did the calculations myself and they total exactly $2 million. That is a lot of love between the brotherhood of Joes.

If you can tell what is important to someone by where they spend their money, it would seem that Senator Joe Robach’s most beloved project is St. Joseph’s Villa of Rochester ($120,000, about double the cost of any other project). Hmmm…that’s funny, back in 2004 Senator Robach told the D&C “the Renaissance Square Project is my top local priority.”

That was four years ago. Is this how Senator Robach takes care of his “top local priority”? I think it’s time to “get back Jo Jo, get back to where you once belonged.” Maybe Willa Powell, Richard Dollinger or Sandy Frankel can help him with that trip. Of course, another Joe (Morelle) may have to get involved to help tease apart just who will escort Mr. Robach back home.
