Leaving the issues out of it this time around

I was mainly referring to that part of Tom's post. I can't "leave out the issues." Good point about the small differences between Hillary and Obama (which is why I am an Edwards supporter).

I don't think anyone's experience is "wrong," just worrisome if issues are left out.

I think this is a fair comment.

It recognizes ever so slight differences between Obama and Clinton. it would be different if Bernie Sanders or Feingold were opposing either Obama or Clinton . Tom - Recognizes that for him Obama inspires more than Clinton.

For me - I've been in a small room with both Obama and Clinton on different occasions and seen them together. I have had a difference experience. I don't think Tom is "wrong" because it is his belief - nor I would hope Tom think my experience is "wrong".

Me - I'm going to look at the differences between the health care proposals. They is what I will base my choice on.

As I recall NOW NY supported Jeanine Pirro in her bid to become Attorney General. AFTER it came out she felt she was above the law.

Single issue focus ultimately leads to blindness. In NOWs case (the NY chapter) it is OK to illegally wiretap your husband because you are a woman. Bull

Yeah, good strategy. I hear Hitler was quite the orator. If it's not about the issues then you have no one to blame when your leader takes the country into 2 wars and is eyeing a third.

I once believed that voting the issues was the only way to go. Then I saw everyone around me. They could be struck repeatly in the head by the issues and they still couldn't recognize a good candidate.

Leaving the issues out of it this time around (and also knowing how close Obama and Hillary are on the issues), I'm voting the the candidate who excites me, as well as others, and has the awesome ability to inspire.

this issue is what pissed me off about NOW-NY's 'betrayal' press release. they focused on gender over agenda. i guess in the end though we all have our own reasons to pull that lever, and it is no one else's business.
but no matter the line, if i see mc or o in front of a name, i am voting irish. it always works out...
