Rudy can’t win for losing
This is pretty funny:
Finishing at or near the bottom of every initial contest — something nobody on his campaign team ever envisioned — has had a devastating effect on his (Giuliani’s) chances.
No one could have anticipated that refusing to campaign in Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan, and South Carolina might cause a candidate to do poorly at the polls there.

That’s funny, but I remember reading stories about how Rudy did campaign in New Hampshire and Iowa. Which makes his results in those two states, well, hilarious.
Yeah, they didn’t so much refuse to campaign in those states as disavow having campaigned when it was clear they weren’t going to win.
And while I think Ron Paul is nuttier than a locker room full of jockstraps, I do find it interesting that the narrative the media insists on still includes Giuliani as some kind of serious contender even though he’s lost every primary/caucus to Paul, the man they so scorn as unrealistic.
I wouldn’t write him off just yet. People forget that Florida allows early voting and he’s basically been down there by himself almost a month. His strategy is definitely high risk/high reward but if he wins, he’s right back in the mix. Thompson is probably pulling out today, Paul is a kook, McCain won’t be able to rely on the Independent vote anymore, and the evangelicals are going to split between Romney and Huckabee. If his tactic works, Guiliani will be seen as a political genius.
“Ron Paul is nuttier than a locker room full of jockstraps”
“Paul is a kook”
So, who in your opinion(s) is nuttier or a bigger kook?
Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich?
