I was disappointed in Richardson's campaign but he has proved himself very capable at actually governing. So he might make a very good VP. And his presence on the ticket would help a lot in the southwest. It might put Arizona in play and effectively lock up NM (it would almost certainly do this) and Nevada. He is qualified to hold most any government post, has better than average national support, and most importantly, he hasn't pissed anybody off . Domienici's seat is his for the asking, VP to Clinton or Edwards is an obvious choice, but what would be the best option is to make him the secretary of state and send him around the world to apologies for the country's rude behavior over the past decade. Maybe VP slot, maybe something else - there is too much uncertainty for him to endorse right now. Again all my comments were/are off the cuff.
