Watch these numbers

Keep an eye on turn out.  In 2000, turn out was 239,523 on the GOP side and 156,862 on the Dem side.

Thus far, the number of Democrats who voted is roughly double the number of Republicans, in roughly the same number of precincts.  If this keeps up, it will tell us Iowa was no fluke.

Makes no sense really. They fought like rabid racoons for the past eight years, and now they all of a sudden roll over and play dead? Cheney not running, republicans not voting…

So the big question…WHY? And why no apparent concern over the issue. Normally they’d be dragging the registered GOP voters out by their bathrobe belts…but it’s like none of this is important to them?

However, the GOP race was more heated in 2000 than the Dem race was so maybe that explains the low number of Dems back then.
