Rasmussen poll on Bloomberg and other stuff
Polling is one of those things that generally goes on under the radar, so whenever a reader writes in about being contacted by a pollster, we like to pass it onto you. A reader writes:
Tonight I got a robocall survey from Rasmussen.
It was a fairly typical poll, except for the fact that they asked 2 questions
about who would you vote for in a 3-way presidential race, with Bloomberg as an
Independent candidate.Line-up #1 was: Clinton-Giuliani-Bloomberg
Line-up #2 was:
Obama-Huckabee-BloombergIIRC, the other questions were:
Rate Bush’s performance as president (1-4, with 4 being poor)
Rate Spitzer’s performance (1-4)
Your opinion (1-4) of:
Clinton
Obama
Guiliani
Huckabee
BloombergPlus personal political and demographic questions.
So, it’s possible that Bloomberg is testing the waters as an independent
candidate for president.
