Randy retracts

Randy Kuhl has now retracted claims he’d made that Eric Massa had apologized to Democratic representative Reid Engel over Massa’s criticism of a Brazilian junket that both Kuhl and Engel went on (from the Hornell Evening-Tribune)

So, apparently Eric Massa didn’t apologize to the man who planned a congressional delegation trip to Brazil last week.

That wasn’t the word that came out of the office of U.S. Rep. John “Randy” Kuhl, R-29, earlier this week, when it issued a statement from Kuhl blasting Massa for questioning the trip, and then apologizing after he was criticized for his comments. The release, which offered a prepared statement from Kuhl about the matter, stated Kuhl “issued the following statement today about Eric Massa’s apology to Rep. Eliot Engel, D-17, after Massa made inappropriate comments on the congressional delegation mission to Brazil.

[...]

During his weekly telephone press conference call this morning, Kuhl was asked whether or not Massa had apologized, due to the conflicting statements made by the 29th Congressional seat opponents.

“He hasn’t,” Kuhl said.

It’s good to see a Congressman come clean about misleading statements.

I think Kuhl should apologize to Massa and to the reporters he misled. But a retraction is certainly better than nothing.

Misleading statements? He lied Ex. Plain and simple. Forgiveness for Kuhl is not on the agenda for today.

This mans entire history is predicated on lies, threats, and failure. There is no forgiving him for being a self-serving, rubber-stamping, ill-equipped excuse for a Congresscritter during 2 acts of war. No one can save him from himself.

NO EXCUSE. NO FORGIVENESS.

VOTE ERIC MASSA FOR CONGRESS!
