In a 404 – 6 vote, Local NY Reps. Randy Kuhl (R), Tom Reynolds (R), Jim Walsh (R), AND Louise Slaughter (D) ALL VOTED TO APPROVE THIS BILL!!
The bill is now being considered in the Senate
Say NO to Senate Bill S-1959
This bill would create a National Commission to gather information on the activities of American citizens to determine whether their beliefs might encourage “ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change.â€
From warrant-less wiretapping, the Patriot Act, and legalizing torture to Guantanamo Bay, “Secret Renditionâ€, and Abu-Ghraib, we must stop the attack on civil liberties, against Arabs and Muslims, against dissenters, and against those who oppose the WARS of aggression the United States is waging around the world.

Change occurs slowly, underneath the veil of “protecting” the public, till like the Jews in Nazi Germany, we are carted away for our own “protection”. Consdered a threat against the “Homeland”. We, who protest this war, are not terrorists, but how easily we could be spun as such by this diabolical regime. It’s not much of a stretch for them.

After reading this, and hearing about how some fire districts in NYC are being asked to contact Homeland Security if they respond to a fire and notice any books or materials of anti-Americanism in victims homes, I’m beginning to feel like we are being profiled. This is similar to Mussolini. And let’s not forget the book burnings in Nazi Germany prior to the Holocaust. In Germany, everything was done under the notion of “nationalism”. Here it’s “patriotism”. Either way you spell it, it’s the efforts of a madman to sort and identify. They’ve read our emails, tapped our phones, watched our purchases, controlled our media, and now they’re sorting us like socks in a drawer.
Pretty soon I’m going to be forced to buy a gun, and I’m not a gun person. But this is getting ridiculous. History is repeating itself before our very eyes, and we sit here like lemmings.
So don’t “sit around” Get educated, get involved…
