Randy does something cool

Randy Kuhl was the only Western New York Republican to vote for the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. The bill outlaws discrimination based on sexual orientation.
This vote was a decent act, and probably a political risk. Kuhl deserves respect for supporting the bill in committee and on the floor of the House.

I wonder where Randy was on the transgender provision which was ultimately removed. I know there were a lot of procedural votes where the Repubs tried to kill it.
You HAVE to give your opponents when they do the right thing…without disclaimers. Otherwise you aren’t any better than a demogogue. Hats off Randy.

The thing is I LIKE when I can give credit to my opponent. And I always admire it when I see opponents in the ideological wars take a time out to say something good about the other. Personally, as much as a failure George Bush is a President in my mind, I really WOULD enjoy having a beer with him.
