Continuing to bang the drum

As pointed out to me in a comment from a previous post, Al Gore leads the DFA 2008 Pulse Poll, as a write-in candidate, by 4,233 votes. As a write-in candidate!!! Yes, I know that DFA is a well informed population and not representative of the nation, or even the Democratic party as a whole, but it seems to me that this is significant.

In addition to that, there are those 3 issue pieces that he put up on Youtube. Is he testing the waters here?

I know, I’ve probably inindated our readers with more Al Gore information than you currently desire, but remember when he runs and wins, that you heard it here first!

So thank you for indulging me, once again, and for allowing me to finally use this, my favorite picture of Al:

The media reports all the time that there are no standouts among the Republican candidates–no must have candidate. The media also reports that the Dems do have their must have candidate in Hillary. I’m very curious how accurate the polls are and whether the media is overlooking any of the “we want someone other than the listed candidates.”

The reporting just makes it seem that Dems are very content with Hillary and I do not believe that for a minute.
