More on third quarter fundraising
The Elmira Star-Gazette has an article up about Kuhl’s and Massa’s third-quarter numbers. Here’s the key grafs:
Most of Kuhl’s money came from special interest political action committees (PACs), including General Motors Corp, Lockheed Martin Employees, RJ Reynolds tobacco company and Dairy Farmers of America Inc. He received nearly $129,000 from PACs and nearly $41,000 from individuals. He also received $600 from Republican committees. In contrast, the bulk of Massa’s money, nearly $108,000, came from individual donors.
In NY-25, the Washington Post notes that Nancy Pelosi gave money to the Maffei campaign, reflecting the belief that the race in NY-25 is a top target for Democrats in 2008.
