A new low for Maggie Minarik

It’s official: Maggie Brooks has no shame. She launched an angry attack on school boards yesterday (from Channel 10 NBC):

Brooks showed up in front of a Webster elementary school to attack suburban school boards. This was the latest chapter in the controversy in which schools will lose millions in sales tax revenue.Brooks held nothing back, saying schools are putting their own self-interest above that of the community. And she called it shameful.

“The fact is our local school districts have an addiction to taxes. That is not fair to taxpayers,” said Brooks.

That’s like saying human beings have an addiction to oxygen. Schools have been and always will be funded by taxes. Sheer idiocy from a deceitful and now, it seems, possibly deranged woman.

Why did she do this in Webster? To try to help Republican Dave Malta, of course:

The principal of Webster’s State Road School, Carmen Gumina, is the democratic candidate for county legislature in the 8th district opposing republican David Malta.

Shame on you, Maggie Brooks. And shame on you, Stephen Minarik, for dreaming up this crazy stunt.
