F.A.I.R. dialog is a S.H.A.M.
Lee Strong reports on his “dialog” with Maggie Brooks over F.A.I.R.
IÂ got a call tonight asking me to take part in a telephone forum dialogue with Maggie Brooks about her budget proposal that, among other things cuts sales tax income to schools.
I decided to stay on the line and try to get at least one question in.

I had a lot of questions, but decided to focus on schools.
I said that this plan, as far as the schools go, relies on increased state aid to make up for the loss of sales tax revenue, but wondered what contingency does this plan make for the possibility that the state might choose to - or be forced to - reduce that aid due to disasters, a downturn in the economy, maybe even politics.

There were many more callers, all supportive, all tossing softballs, but they never got to me.
I wonder why?
