Late last night, the President of the County Legislature called the Leg in to Special Session tonight. Putting aside for the moment how lame it is to call the session on less than 24 hours notice…
Wait– let’s not put it aside. What’s so urgent that they had to call it on such short notice? Are they trying to hide something yet again, like when they moved the budget approval date till AFTER the election?
I expect this to be an emergency vote on the county “intercept” option. More as it happens…

I guess this is what happens when you have the Chair of a political party running the gov’t?
