D&C editorial page wins an award
And it sounds like they deserve it. It’s for their Sunshine Week coverage. Here’s James Lawrence’s description:
The call came about a week ago. It was a spokesperson for the Association of Opinion Page Editors, who wanted to congratulate us for winning the 2007 Best Op-Ed Page Award.

We were cited for our March 12 Speaking Out page which was part of a package centered around “Sunshine Week.”
They did do a great job on that, I remember thinking how in-depth it was. Also it’s a subject near and dear to my heart.
Yeah maybe they should do it more often. Sunshine week was a great series. Unfortunately we need to have sunshine month or sunshine year. Follow-up?
