Corning Leader Managing Editor: Kuhl will probably lose his job

I think this is pretty big news (via the Fighting29th yet again) — Joe Dunning, the managing editor of the Corning Leader, says (pdf) that:

It’s obvious to everyone but Bush and his supporters that it’s past time to pull out. Â And Kuhl’s reluctance to say so will cost him votes, probably enough to cost him his job.

The Corning Leader is one of the Southern Tier’s biggest papers. And it’s traditionally thought of as a Republican editorial page. For its managing editor to say this just goes to show how far opinion in this district has swung against the continued occupation of Iraq.

Oh, and we’d like to thank Fighting29th reader Elmer for providing the pdfs of the articles in the Corning Leader!
