BREAKING: Walsh to support withdrawl?

We are awaiting details but this could be big (via the D&C editorial blog):

This just in:
Just received an email from our Washington reporter, Erin Kelly, who just got off the phone with Rep. Jim Walsh. She’s writing a story for tomorrow’s paper that reports the moderate Republican is switching gears and is now calling for withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq.

Not only that but Walsh, who visited Iraq during the weekend, says he will no longer support funding the war.

We’ll see what he actually does. The D&C will sit down with Walsh on Wednesday. There’s supposed to be a full article by Erin Kelly on this as well.

Thanks to Lee Strong for this tip. And check out Lee’s excellent coverage of the Vietnam Dignity Memorial Wall’s visit to Gates this weekend.

I’m glad that Walsh is moving though I have to wonder what convinced him to change his position. Was it the 3,761 his breaking point?
