Kuhl subpoenaed in protester trial

The Elmira Star-Gazette has the details:

Bath Village Court issued a subpoena late Wednesday for U.S. Rep. John R. Kuhl Jr., R-Hammondsport, to appear as a witness in Friday’s trial of five anti-war protesters charged with trespassing at Kuhl’s office in Bath.

In a phone call Thursday, Kuhl’s chief of staff Bob Van Wicklin said that their office was unaware of any subpoena.

I’d love to hear Congressman Kuhl explain why he couldn’t even get a conference call into the office on that day… he was on vacation afterall
