Biased much, Syracuse media?

One of the two greatest mysteries in local politics (the other being the D&C’s refusal to admit that Stepehen Minarik runs the county) is the tremendous love the Syracuse media has for Jim Walsh. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Walsh’s voting record is just as conservative as Randy Kuhl’s, and, unlike Kuhl, he’s completely unresponsive to constituents: he recently bragged to the NYT that ”I went 10 years without doing a town hall meeting.”

But the Syracuse media goes on loving him and goes on trashing Maffei. Here’s a sample from News10Now on Maffei’s plans to revitalize the Syracuse-area economy

It’s the latest proposal by Daniel Maffei, who has been running an active campaign for the 25th District congressional seat, despite the fact that the election is more than 14 months away.

Are you kidding me? What kind of reporting is that?
