Losing the battle of the internets

The Republicans have launched a site called majorityap.com which they are using to attack the Democratic majority in Congress. Why the name? Presumably because it may fool some people into thinking their articles are from the usual AP (the Associated Press wire service).

Here’s the dumb part: to get their email updates, you have to pay $212 a year. Is forcing people to pay for what should be a free service really a good way to get your message across?

My first thought when I read this is “Is this some way of going around campaign finance laws? How many times can you register to get your e-mail updates? Hmmmm?”

Why do they call conservative bloggers “generals”? Look at the blogroll.
