Welcome Home Randy - protest planned on Monday

Got this in my email:

Noon
Monday August 6
Packets Landing, Fairport

Randy Kuhl is coming home for the August recess! Come rally in Fairport on Monday and express your outrage over Kuhl’s continued support for President Bush’s endless Iraq war policy. It’s time for Randy Kuhl to take a stand against the War in Iraq. New Yorkers are demanding an end to the war and Rep. Kuhl must face the consequences for ignoring their views!

Meet at the intersection of South Main Street and Packetts Landing in Fairport at 12:00 pm, this Monday August 6th. Bring signs and anything else to help you get your message across!

Sounds fun. Anyone want to go?

  1. That’s excellent plan. I live in Reynolds’ district, but getting Kuhl out of office would impact some of my older sister’s friends. They hate the guy. They want him out AsAP. I’d like to see Massa take him this time. I think he can… but it will be tough.

I agree. That area of road gets so badly backed up during the 4-6 hours that I don’t understand why we wouldn’t protest then. Not only do you get higher visbility, but you also get people sitting in their cars waiting for the bridge and/or rail road tracks to become clear.
