I sent a letter to the editor yesterday and realized today I never got a comfirmation email. I'm also thinking back to several other letters in which not confirmation was sent. At first I thought maybe it was a change in policy, but I guess my letters weren't actually being received. I just resent my letter, which did get a confirmation and then I sent a test email which didn't get a response.

Lesson is...if you don't get the confirmation email, your letter probably wasn't received.
