The D&C political blog hitting its stride
There’s been a ton of great stuff over at the D&C political blog over the past week, most of it centering around Albany, from Bruno’s strange take on the campaign finance reform bill that just passed to the debate over congestion pricing in New York City.
I’ll try to do a summary of some of it this weekend if I get a chance. In the meantime, why not stop by over there, read some of the pieces (they’re short) and maybe leave a comment or two telling Jay Gallagher, Erin Kelly, and Cara Matthews you appreciate the work they’re doing (remember, their real job is to write articles, these blog posts are like a form of overtime).
In the immortal words of David Putty, “You gotta let ‘em know you’re out there.” You meaning people who care about state politics.

Yay! I love it when they do a good job. My complaint with the D&C is that they’re too short-staffed to really do investigative journalism and thus rely heavily on press releases. Many of the reporters are quite good. I would agree that the three you mentioned are excellent.
EXACTLY!
This is my perception as well. My impression is that they’re understaffed/overworked, just like the rest of us in corporate America. The difference being that instead of just your group in your company inspecting your work, you’ve got 250,000. (Is that the right number, itchy?)
