I smell a rat…

The owner of this childcare center is listed in the County Clerks records with debtor actions taken against her. This 1028 Enterprises is an LLC also formed at the same address as her home address, the same address as the Inc. of her childcare center.

They bought the property off of RG&E…for exactly how much would be interesting to know.

RG&E has supposedly gone “broke”…but was also tied into that assessement scandal in Greece amongst other things like Tom Rogers selling the Jefferson Road property to move them to the West Avenue property that HE OWNED, making the company he was CEO for his new tenant. I don’t trust them or Energy East at ALL. Looks like the easements and the environmental clearance sailed right through…

So the magical question is:

Who is Samuel Liberatore, Passero Associates and Bob and Debra Singer, and how much have they donated to Maggies campaign?

Why wouldn’t Comida run a background check on this Childcare Center and see that they have been debtor issues with them? I would think that throwing good money after bad would not be the standard for a “small business” - one can certainly understand it with a larger business to a degree…but this business was only filed on 5/25/06 - and has nothing but litigation in it’s entire history.

Don’t forget either - this Passero Associates is doing the building on a buy back/lease deal with the child care center - so one has to wonder if this isn’t a way to add a layer between their direct purchase of a land deal for cheap from RG&E, and at the same time, getting the Comida funding for the building through the childcare group. Long story short - have your cake and eat it too…and have the taxpayers through the county pay for it.
