North East Joint Fire District vote today

Is there the same controversy as in Henrietta? Regardless - don’t forget to vote.

From the DC this morning

July 10, 2007 4:52 am — Residents of the North East Joint Fire District will vote today on an $8.5 million plan to build a new fire station in the village of Webster and renovate another station in Penfield.

Voting will take place from 3 to 9 p.m. at Enderlin Station, 35 South Ave. in the village of Webster.

The plan includes tearing down Enderlin Station and replacing it with a new facility that would serve as district headquarters. Roseland Station, 1391 Salt Road, Penfield, would be expanded. Work at Enderlin Station would cost $6.8 million. At Roseland, it would cost $1.7 million.
