WBP: Henrietta GOP is tasty, says Henrietta GOP

This kind of thing is why it’s good to have mutiple eyes on the ball. There’s all kinds of stuff to see for those who, in the words of Led Zepplin, stand looking.

Water Buffalo Press has found an interesting couple of images that appear to show the local GOP eating its own, in Henrietta, for the contested Town Supervisor position we wrote about previously. Their summary:

Brooks has not officially endorsed any candidate but one would have to assume that her support is behind Driscoll. What Breese did to anger the Machiavellian Steve Minarik and his lapdog Maggie is unknown, but if he has done so that means Breese is one of the few good Republicans left in Monroe County.

I’d make a small correction to this– just because Minarik doesn’t like him doesn’t automatically make him a good Republican. He could still be a crappy supervisor that happened to piss Minarik off.

Either way, you know it’s getting ridiculous when Minarik’s moves are becoming so obvious it’s a spectator sport.

I’m pretty sure that Jack Driscoll is not running for supervisor. Mike Yudelson will be primarying against Jim Breese, unless things have changed in the last couple of weeks. I’m working on the bottom line, waiting for my people to get back to me on this.

I read a letter to the editor in the MPN Henrietta Post to the effect that since someone is going to primary McCabe and Mulligan for Town Board, that we should all be happy that there is a choice. Funny…the Reps believe the delusion that by offering the same status quo Minarik GOP candidates, just merely in multitude, there is a choice. There is a saying for this: Same sh**, different shovel.

ladkiddo,

Already gotten to the bottom of it, Driscoll announced in April that he will be challenging Breese just as he did in the last election with a primary, as will Yudelson.

And, like the last election, Driscoll will likely challenge Breese via the Independent line if the primary is lost.

How ironic the goon Minarik now supports Breese. Breese has been an autocrat for at least the last 20 years and needs to go. What does Minarik do for a living? He is a failure and should butt out of Town Politics. Town politicians don’t need him.
