Congressional Candidate Eric Massa of Corning was unanimously endorsed by the Cattaraugus County Democratic Committee this past week. This represents the Fifth Official Endorsement by a County Democratic Committee in New York’s 29^th District for Massa.

In 2006, 20,281 votes were cast in Cattaraugus County adding up to 10% of the vote. In addition to Cattaraugus County, Eric Massa has also received the endorsements of the Allegany, Schuyler, Steuben and Yates County Democratic Committees in addition to the Towns of Chili, Corning, Gates, Rush, Mendon, Perinton, Penfield and Pittsford. The 29^th District consists of all or parts of Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chemung, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Steuben, and Yates Counties.
