What I meant is that if they don't keep it forever wild then slowly we will lose all things natural and only have facsimiles.

Think more "Peter Pan" or "Finding Never Land". I'm sure there are faeries, pirates and Aboriginies about. A great place to fly away to and watch the sun come up.

I hope you're right about it remaining forever wild. I keep thinking of that movie "Blade Runner" where all the animals are animatronic and everything is urban and paved, and in the end, even the humans aren't what they seem.

I don't think we have to worry(optimism setting in). It'll go to the State and remain protected.

Personally I haven't but have heard great things. Which is why it should stay forever wild.

Just to be clear. I want it forever wild (period)
The City appraisal sounds like it is a counter balance to the State Appraisal
I think it is going to the State eventually
I can only hope that the State keeps it forever wild
In my opinion, development of this land would have the same negative impact on Duffy as the Fast Ferry had on Johnson.
Short sighted gain - long term loss.

Just curious-have you ever spent any time down there ? Walked the path on the West side of Canadice and seen the old growth trees? Canoed, or kyaked? It's really awesome down there.
