Massa Continues to rack up endorsements
from the fighting 29th. Rottenchester said it better than I could.
Eric Massa received two more Democratic committee endorsements this week, one from the Perinton committee, and the other from Schuyer County. It will be interesting to see if he receives more endorsements after the Pittsford and Corning committee meetings tonight and tomorrow.
Check out what else he found….
…Someone calling himself “A Soon-to-Be Nachbar Fan” has registered the name NachbarForCongress.com and now has an “open letter to David Nachbar” posted at that address.
The letter is lame but that is just my opinion. Â Too early to tell how genuine it is.
So from Monroe County thus far - Penfield and Perinton.  Let’s see what else happens.
Anyone know if David Nachbar has at least reached out the local Democratic committees?

I’ve heard, though this is just through the grapevine so take it for what you will that Nachbar has actually declined to meet with at least one local democratic committee. With the sponsorsphips falling all Massa’s way it’s hard to understand what this guy still sees that there is left to be won.
I still wonder, has anyone gotten any official word from Nachbar on anything?
Funny how Nachbar’s candidacy has served to re-energize the pro-Massa forces. How fortuitous.
I think that this is pretty much what he said would happen in his initial press release about Nachbar too.
Nachbar missed a meeting because he had to take his kid to see a college campus. Perhaps that’s the genesis of the rumor (?)
Is this true or an attempt at rumor humor?
The unanswered and larger question poised is has he reached out to ANY of the committees.
I have it pretty much first-hand on the high school trip. So, yes, he tried to reach out to a committee, but then had a conflict. My understanding is that he still plans to meet with that committee.
The only refusal I’ve heard about was the refusal of many committees to meet with him.
Well that is nice. It seems he should have reached out either earlier or offered alternative times to meet. It is a a function of desire in my opinion. A base needs to be built w/in the Democratic party. I don’t see that occurring.
I guess I’ll find out when/if he comes to my committee.
Honestly, I had heard that he missed a meeting to take his kid to a campus as well as the fact that Nachbar refused a meeting with a committee. Although again I have to mention that this is all like third-hand information.
Third hand or not - There are a number of Town Dem committee meetings. Each on different days in different locations. Doing the things apparently necessary to run like filing paperwork, hiring people etc and all we have is 3rd hand info as if he reached out to the local Democratic Party for support?
The story sounds like its missing something - like actually reaching out the local committees.
