The Webster Post's headline depicting leadership changes at the Webster Republican Party makes it appear that young people with fresh ideas were pushed aside by individuals who lived during the Stone Age. That is the furthest thing from the truth and very misleading.

The real headline is that the committee is now under the leadership of people who put the good of that party ahead of personal agendas.

For the past two years the Webster GOP party’s leadership tossed aside long-standing rules and regulations, failed to communicate with all members of the committee on a regular basis, and tried twice(unsuccessfully) to nominate the (former) leader’s sister-in-law for a seat on the town board.

Yes the committee was divided, but now that the (former) leader and her selected group of followers are no longer in charge, the Webster Republican Committee is back in the hands of people who have in the past, and will continue in the future, to work hard electing candidates who believe in the principals that the party stands for.
