In case you missed it…

A brief summary of some of this week’s stories…

For me, the highlight of every week here at RochesterTurning is Optimusprime’s “Better Know A Wedge” series. This week, he featured t h r e a d, a unique clothing store in the southwedge.

The least surprising news story of the week was Maggie Brooks’s announcement that she is seeking re-election (the only question is who will run against her?).

Stlo7 and I had a great time at the state Democratic convention. We will both soon have some lengthy posts about things we learned and people we met there.

And maybe the biggest local polititical story was the the VoteVets ad running against Walsh and Kuhl that features retired General John Batiste, who lives in Rochester and works for Klein Steel. If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the ad again:

And, finally, a note to our readers: The last few weeks have been the most succesful in the history of RT in terms of traffic. We’d like to thank all of our new readers as well as everyone who was down with it from day one.

Why isn’t anyone from RT running against Maggie?

I can’t tell if you’re flattering us or making fun of us ;)
