WHAM 13 story on Iraq war

WHAM 13 has a short piece up about the VoteVets press conference that we told you about yesterday:

Three war vets were in Rochester Thursday to criticize President Bush’s handling of the war in Iraq. Their travels coincide with a series of ads in which former military commanders (who served in Iraq and Afghanistan) target members of congress who support the President—and that includes Reps. Randy Kuhl and Jim Walsh.

Walsh is still sticking with his timetable to stop opposing timetables:

Walsh said he will continue to oppose a timetable for withdrawing troops, but only until an upcoming September report.

It’s always fun to contrast Walsh’s weasely hair-splitting with the frank words of veterans who think the war should end:

Joshua Lansdale who served in Iraq and Afghanistan said, “When I was in Iraq, we thought there were weapons of mass destruction. That changed. Now it’s time to go home.”

The argument can not be any more clearer.

    Thanks Vote Vets!

Now the question leads to this: Will Congressman Kuhl and Walsh listen?
