The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is scary
I wrote about some of our members of Congress and their relationship to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Well - it gets worse.
I’ve been told my posts are at times toooooo long 
so the condensed version is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is headed by a corrupt person and is bent on replacing government with private concerns. We already buy bottled water (who needs the water authority (we don’t need the corruption, we need the water)). Next we will be purchasing air from the government.
Check out this post at Mydd. It is a profile of that corrupt leader of the U.S. chamber of commerce - Tom Donahue. A guy who has friends like most of our local Congressman.
Randy Kuhl and Tom Reynolds are rated by the USCofC at 100% Jim Walsh is @ 79%. Louise Slaughter is at 15%.Check out their 2007 labor priorities? Here are but a few…
o Oppose expanding workplace laws and craft alternatives when necessary.
o Oppose any efforts to expand Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) leave or mandate paid sick leave.
o Block attempts to increase penalties for criminal violations of OSHA.
o Continue to expose unreasonable union organization tactics such as salting and corporate campaigns.
o Advocate narrow, pro-employer provisions and changes to employment laws through legislative and regulatory actions, including reforming the wage and hour and occupational safety and health laws, the FMLA, and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs’ implementing regulations.
Yep just the kind of organinzation that would support Congressmen Kuhl, Walsh and Reynolds.
