Can you guess what that number is?

Let’s have a quick peek at one of Randy Kuhl’s recent press release:

RUSHFORD, N.Y., Apr 19 - U.S. Representative John R. “Randy” Kuhl, Jr. (R-Hammondsport) today announced that the Rushford Volunteer Fire Department is the recipient of a $6,557 grant from the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The funds are earmarked toward the department’s fire prevention program.

“Our volunteer firefighters are a tremendous asset to the small communities around the 29th District so I’m grateful for every bit of help that the federal government can send our way,” said Rep. Kuhl. “Our first responders are the backbone of homeland security, so I sincerely thank FEMA for sending us these sorely needed funds.”

Funds from the grant can be used for community fire prevention programs arranged by the Fire Department.

To that I say, “Rad, I’m all for giving fire departments money”… but then I remembered the $2,500,000 Randy also bragged about securing for the bowling alley up the road.

0.0026228% … that’s how much the Rushford Fire Dept gets for fire prevention when compared to $2,500,000.

Randy… Do you really love bowling that much more than our brave men and women of the fire department? When you win pork for the district, I’m sure your constituents would prefer it be for something that matters.

Just one more question … How come your press release about the bowling alley is no longer listed along with your other press releases? Am I blind? Why isn’t there a press release listed for April 4th?

So sad that when taking heat on a given topic some feel they can hide or otherwise omit information but fail to remove it from their server.

    Oh, you silly spinners.

Corporate welfare. It is that plain and simple.

$6,557 for a Volunteer Fire Dept vs. $2,500,000 for Bowling?!

    Where is Randy’s priorities?
