Kuhl throws a gutter ball
This latest revelation scooped by the intrepid Fighting 29th and now front paged on Mydd.com will have major ramifications down the road on Kuhl’s political future. As it turns out, Congressman Kuhl who states how much he despises pork spending was able to allocate a whopping $2.5 million for a bowling alley in Canandaigua.
This has all the trappinigs to embroil Congressman Kuhl into a major political scandal when you examine the big picture. You know what vital location next door could have used funding? How about the now defunct acute psychiatric care facility at the Canandaigua VA Hospital which shut down due to federal budget cuts.
From the Democrat and Chronicle:
Earlier this month, Schumer released a study that, based on figures from the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, shows that patients in the V.A. system across the country were having money allocated that didn’t meet their needs.
The study found that for the nine-county Rochester Finger Lakes region, funding lagged behind needs by about $10.5 million.
To recap, Congressman Kuhl decides to use his political clout to save the local bowling alley and not the Canandaigua VA. Notch this up as another instance of Congressman Kuhl abusing tax payer money on a pet project while neglecting essential vital services for our veterans and the 29th district once again.

This ought to be easy to “frame†… Republican government aids wealthy business owners while eliminating aid to veterans with psychiatric problems.
Ya, basically
Good work, good job figuring this out you guys.
Sounds like Kuhl bowled a strike.
