There’s always Texas and Texans to remind me how much more reasonable things are up here. First it was trying the push to add intelligent design to the public school curriculum, now Republican Texas State Legislator Warren Chisum is trying to pass a bill which would REQUIRE Public Schools to offer Bible classes! Granted these classes would be elective, but if Bible classes are ok, why not offer why not offer Islam classes at the cost of tax dollars? Take THAT separation of church and state!
We may have Maggie Brooks going on crazy crusades, but I’m sure glad I’m not in Texas.
