I'm a pacifist at heart, but oddly I've heard a couple military analogies that really work well. stlo7, our own Army vet, is in response to the constant onslaught of the right-wing the last dozen years or so. When I've gotten "outrage fatigue", or just burnt out keeping up with it all, stlo7 reminds me that it's important to "duck back down in the trench and reload". Glad you enjoyed it.
