Speaking of letters
I found this good one on the GranolaBox website:
Congressman Kuhl,
I’m curious as to why you voted down the US Troop Readiness, Veteran’s Health and Iraq Acountability Act. The act does everything sensible to protect the health and well being of the troops currently in Iraq, those injured there, and finally, and most importantly, gets them out of harm’s way by bringing them home with a set timetable.
I ask you, Mr. Kuhl, to support our troops in future votes. As the grandson of a WWII veteran, son of a Vietnam Veteran and uncle of two Iraq veterans, I feel your further prosecution of the futile war in Iraq will only serve to put more lives at risk and do irreparable harm to our international reputation.
Sincerely,
Rob Coats

What a great way to put it. I’d love to see an honest response from Mr. Kuhl.
I’ll let you know if and when I get one.
