		<description>Not that I am surprised, but the local coverage of all the village elections is practically non-existent this morning.  The D&#38;C is the only one that I can see that has anything, and they didn't even bother to list party affiliations.</description>

I wonder what the difference would be if the independent guy didn't run.  Never the less, good news all the way around.  Hope Reynolds and Freed don't leave the scene.</description>

		<description>I'm from Summit, NJ.  For over 100 years, Democrats didn't even bother to run there; the Republican primary was the only election that mattered.  Now the Democratic Governor of New Jersey is from there, and two-way local elections are the norm.  Things change.  Excelsior.</description>
