Our first ad - The Night Gallery
At the risk of “ad-whoring” (is that a term?) I’d like to ask you to check out our very first ad. I like that instead of a national-scope ad (like one of the Presidential contenders), we’re instead promoting local progressive businesses (or local businesses run by progressives), like Conde’ Photography.
And promoting them is helping defray the cost of our server. Win-win.
There’s a funny line on their site that made me chuckle. See if you can find it. (Hint: Click the link on the ad. On their site, click “stories” at the top. Then click “the candidate”. Look at the “Results”. Funny.)
Just checked the stats, and holy crap– since it debuted yesterday, the ad’s gotten 420 views and 12 clickthroughs. On a weekend. Don’t know much about advertising, but that seems pretty good.
Oh, and it being the first ad, there are a couple kinks we’re working out. We’ll have that image centered before you know it.
