RT Update
A couple quick things:
•   Ads: you’ve probably noticed that we’ve replaced the Craig Johnson campaign ad with a couple of blank ad spaces in the middle column. We’re signed up with the Liberal Blogads Network, but we will still be able to (and would like to) accommodate local progressive groups, candidates, etc. We can also help with the blogad design. Your ad will be seen by a few hundred (and growing) local progressives and activists every day.
•   Blogroll (links): J cleaned up the blogroll and re-categorized them. Thanks J!
•   Content: We’re no experts at blogging local politics. We have day jobs and families, but we do this because we feel strongly that our area is heading in the wrong direction, and that if we can inject a progressive voice into the wilderness, we can do our small part to help. If you have any people, issues, or parts of Monroe County you’d like to see covered better, we’re all ears. Please send us tips, topics, links, whatever, and we’ll be glad to follow it up.

So, like, how’d you score the Blog Ads gig? Someone had to sponsor you, correct?
Liberal Blogads Network has all these requirements. You have to have 2 consecutive months of >11k page views, you have to blog on politics, and you have to be, like, liberal. There’s a couple other smaller requirements as well I can’t recall off the top of my head. If you get in via LBN, they will find you a sponsor. I think Sean Paul from the Agonist had an extra one he donated to the cause. Email me if you want more info.
