That article and the press release in my later post are all I’ve got direct from Mr. Massa himself…
However when you consider that he was “going to make a decision” back in early February, why would he form an exploratory committee if he wasn’t running?
The juxtaposition of the closing of the psych ward at the VA on Kuhl’s watch and the debacle at Walter Reed, are linked and demonstrate the neglect that the GOP has shown to our fighting men and women, after they return home. The disdain many showed to Vietnam vets when they returned was shameful, but this is worse. This is our own government systematically telling vets that they are second class citizens. This area and this country needs a representative that has served in Iraq instead of one who has been served lobster in Iraq. Welcome back to the fray Eric! Thank you for your service to your country to date, and thank you in advance for the work you will put in through November ‘08 and beyond to serve us in a new capacity.

Good news indeed. If Kuhl can’t be taken out this time he’ll probably hold this seat until he retires. Time to give it our all!
