Be thankful for the small things at the Democrat and Chronicle
At the D&C Editorial blog, Tom Tobin writes:
I’m proud that the editorial page hasn’t succumbed this year to the temptation, one that befalls on slow news days, to write a weather editorial.
That’s really something to be proud of, Mr. Tobin.
This article made me hopeful that someday they’ll learn how to embed links in html over at the D&C.

Avoiding a “weather editorial” is especially impressive since, as we all know, there are no burning issues in our society right now that might need an editorial.
Hey don’t lump us all in that statement…some of us do imbed links!
LOL! Then again, maybe Tobin’s referring to global warming?
I think you’re the only one, Pete.
It’s too bad, because, if done properly, the D&C blogs could be really useful. As it is, I only find the town blogs to be valuable (not the political and editorial blogs, which should be interesting, given the access Ed Board members have).
Methinks global warming is one of those “hot button” issues that the D&C ed board will avoid like the plague.
RSS feeds would be nice, too.
