Dan Maffei has a brand new blog

Dan Maffei has recently launched a blog off of his campaign site. In his first real entry, he reflects upon the decidedly the different tone President Bush was forced to take at his recent State of the Union address… We’ll keep a close eye on Dan’s blog from now on and will add it to our NY Politics Blogroll.
Welcome to the Blogosphere Dan!

DKOS had a nice write-up about vulnerable seats next house cycle. I see the 25th is right there.
(ed note. DKOS either omitted NY 26 or it isn’t vulnerable per their data.)
RE: WA-08. It’s funny how the comment display thingy turned your 8) into a sunglasses smiley. Although Darcy Burner is pretty cool.
Better call RT tech support and tell them the “comment display thingy” is acting up.
I tried…I’m getting a busy signal. Wonder what that means. :0
Buncha slackers.
Honestly, I don’t think NY-26 is that vulnerable… if Tom Reynolds was able to hold onto a dominant % of the votes during Foley-gate, then I think we may have to just sacrifice that seat to the right. The Democrats will never take every seat, nor should they…
In NY-25, Walsh won by around 4,000 votes… in my opinion this is THE seat for Rochester Progressives to focus on in 2008. Lets hope the launch of Dan’s new blog is an early indicator that he’s interested in running again.
I was commenting on the DKOS quote “(… yes, all remaining GOP-held seats)” . I would tend to agree with you about the NY 26th.
NY-25 is the most vulnerable local seat. Walsh is a poor politician and he really shot himself in the vote with his “I’m disappointed in the people of Syracuse for not recognizing my greatness” comment. Plus, the district leans Democrat.
