Bush Administration now says it will use the FISA court

Well, I think I just heard NBC report that Bush now agreed to use the existing FISA court system rather than the terrorist surveillance act and the wiretapping without a warrant.
Yep, here is the article.

WOW. What a difference an election makes.

Here is my take on Alberto criticizing opponents of Bush’s warrantless wiretapping program a while back.

Here is the quote from NBC

“Accordingly, under these circumstances, the President has determined not to reauthorize the Terrorist Surveillance Program when the current authorization expires,” the attorney general wrote.

Folks, elections do have consequences and results. At all levels.

It would be interesting to review all the pundits and politicians who supported Bush’s warrantless spying program to see what they said, the arguments they made and what they are saying now. (Insert sound of crickets chirping)
