Blaming the media

We’re pretty critical of the media here, but this piece of anti-media insanity from the other side is another thing all together. This is from Republican State Senate Leader Joe Bruno (whom as you may know is under FBI investigation), via the D&C political blog:

What, or rather who, is the problem with the state’s economy? Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno had a different answer today from what you typically hear.
“You are the problem,” Bruno said to me at a press conference today. “You and the (rest of the) media don’t get it.”

Update: (btp) I can’t believe the media would have time to destroy the state’s economy, aren’t they full-time on losing the Iraq war? They better get back to it, or we might win!

I’m only critical of the media in that I want them to “be all that they can be”. I want them to do their previous job of watchdog so I can retire from blogging political stuff.
