Tom Reynolds votes against minimum wage increase - updated

Old Rent-A-Kid Reynolds voted against raising the federal minimum wage from $5.15 to $7.25 today.

Update: btp here. Looks like Walsh learned his lesson and voted for the minimum wage this time. At least he won’t have to lie about it on the air this time.

So very typical of Reynolds: voting against the interests of his constituents, choosing instead to align himself with the right wing agenda, corporate interests and lobbyists. Just two weeks into the 100th Congress Reynolds has already compiled an “impressive” record: AGAINST implementing the 9/11 Commission recommendations, AGAINST ethics reform, AGAINST giving our lowest paid workers their first raise in ten years, AGAINST a plan to lower perscription drug prices, AGAINST reducing college costs and AGAINST research that may lead to cures for terrible diseases.

Reynolds MUST be defeated in 2008 and Democrats MUST find a candidate who can deliver that result (NOT Jack Davis).
