Whopper of the year
I realize the year is still young, but this one may not be surpassed. Here’s State Senate majority leader Joe Bruno on the Pataki era:
“I think history will judge the last 12 years, with this governor that’s exiting, to have been one of the most productive 12 years for the people of New York State. And history will judge that — not rhetoric.â€
Here’s the nonpartisan Brennan Center on those same 12 years:
“New York State’s legislative process is the most dysfunctional in the nation…Most New Yorkers are represented by people with no say. They vote on bills they have had no opportunity to read let alone study.”



HAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! That’s awesome. The pressure of the investigation that he’s “not the focus of” must be getting to him.
