Harry Reid is saying that the new Democratic majority will force the Republicans to agree to an increase in the minimum wage by going after the only thing that Republicans in Congress really care about — their own money.
Reid: To show you how strongly we feel about this, we told the Republicans that there will be no Congressional pay raise unless you raise the minimum wage. There’s no minimum wage increase, there’s no Congressional pay raise for the first time in many years.
Of course, the Whiney One (R-Syracuse) insists that he never raised his own pay.
