Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

btp here checking in from the in-laws. S’been a quiet week, but this week always is, even on the national blogs, with hundreds of thousands of folks. One thing for anyone reading this to be thankful for– you care enough to be interested in where the heck our area and country is going. I thank you for caring so much, and hope that by caring, it helps remind you that we are all part of something much bigger than just ourselves. When I remember that, it lifts my spirits and strengthens my resolve to keep working for a better world.

I’m just a dorky guy with a keyboard, but dammit I’m determined to make a difference, no matter how small, with whatever I have at my disposal. Thanks for helping me be able to look my kids in they eye and say that I was part of something that tried to make a better world for them to inherit.

Well, that’s about enough of the mushy stuff. We’re 10 votes away from a full 50 votes on RT’s next project(s). 50 is the minimum number of total votes we’ll feel comfortable taking a direction on. We get a lot more visitors a day than the 40 who’ve voted, so don’t be shy, step right up and make your choice!

We’ll be a little light on the posting over the weekend– our blog team went through the wringer since we weren’t just blogging up to the election, we were on the phone, going door to door, and researching up a storm. So they deserve a little break.

I’ve got a couple fun little posts queued up with some pretty graphs about NY-29. I’ll drop those on ya over the next couple days.

Enjoy the holiday everyone! Be safe– we need you all to be in full effect going forward.
